ABOUT RAJ RISHI MATSYA UNIVERSITY:
In his budget address for 2012–13, Rajasthan's honourable chief minister announced the founding of Matsya University, Alwar. On August 23, 2012, the university published a notice in the newspaper (Matsya University Act, 2012 No. 29). The university's name was also changed on July 4, 2014, by state government notice No. 2 (14) Vidhi/02/2014, to Raj Rishi BhartrihariMatsya University, Alwar. Currently, the University's temporary site is housed at the Girls Hostel Building of BSR Govt Arts College in Alwar. After the building's construction is complete, the university's permanent campus will be located in the village of Haldeena in the district of Malakhera.
