In 2014, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University was founded. The university is situated in Jind, Haryana, and it has less employees than the Haryana state government. 

On July 24, 2014, State Legislature established CSRU, which has a large campus of 75 acres near Jind'sGohana Bypass. The university was founded with the goal of providing high-quality education by fostering an environment that is most favourable to the creation and sharing of knowledge, guided by original thought, scientific inquiry, supreme human values, sustainable ecological, and democratic ethos.
